Festival Theatre Gallery’s New Exhibition
| THE SECOND major art exhibition of 2006 features both new and well known Scottish artists such as Jean Feeney and James Orr.
A comprehensive showing ranges from new artists this year such as Douglas Gray and Ashley Hunter who specialise in animal studies, along with the tranquil seascapes by Blairgowrie artist John Downie and the vibrant landscapes from Ian McIntyre Younger
Active Arts tutors Jim Murdoch and Richard Alred are showing alongside welcome returnees like Liz Yule, Gail Robertson, Robert Graham, Gillian Kingslake and Harry MacGregor.
Gordon Rennie, with his Gouache paintings which sold out last year, and Jack Ash who follows a very successful season in 2005 with his oil paintings of nautical scenes, both make return visits to PFT.
Marion Douglas (who had a successful solo exhibition at the Theatre last year) also returns, as does Andy Shaw with his contemporary studies
