With accounts finalised, the Pitlochry Gallery Association announced on 25 August the results of this year's exhibition, which allow it to make 'substantial contributions' to its chosen charities.
Chairman Dee Bowman told Comment: "The exhibition was well attended and we achieved a record sales amount of £8,431.97. Donations amounted to £366.46 and the total raised in membership and exhibition fees was £856.00. This adds up to a total income of £9,654.43."
Secretary Jan Moles added: "This result will enable us to make a substantial contribution to our chosen charities. Thanks go to all association members, stewards and musicians who helped to make this possible, and also to the staff of the Atholl Centre for being such generous hosts." |
