Local Photographer Launches Website

After years of storing his slides and prints in dark corners, Jamie Grant of Glen Lyon has finally set up a website of his favourite portraiture, landscape and travel images.
He told Comment: “I have worked on photography projects for a number of charities, including the Scottish Refugee Council and WWF Scotland. My most recent commission was taking photos of fishermen for the Clyde Fisheries Development Project, a few of which are in this collection.”

Jamie has travelled widely over the years and the website also includes shots from carnival time in Cape Verde, the Bolivian highlands and Cadiz in southern Spain.
“Black and white landscape photography is my passion,” Jamie continued, “and the images that feature on the website were mainly taken in Glen Lyon, where I have lived and worked for the past six years.
“I am fascinated by the winter in this remote glen and work to capture the true spirit of this season.”
The new website is www.jamiemurraygrant.co.uk and Jamie encourages browsers you pass comments on his work by clicking on ‘email’ and dropping him a line.
