Watercolourist's Latest Achievement
Margaret Stevenson, who lives at Moulin by Pitlochry, was one of only four artists who exhibited at the Floral Hall at this year’s Gardening Scotland which ran from Friday to Sunday 1-3 June at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston, Edinburgh.
Margaret trained in interior design and first worked as a colour consultant for a national paint company. She followed this with five years as an illustrator.
Marriage and family brought a period of freelancing and a return to watercolour painting.
In 1985 in Dalguise she set up (with her husband) a small craft business and retail outlet.
